Thank you People's United Community Foundation for your award of $15,000 to assist the CDC with its full range of housing and community programs.  The CDC is very grateful for your support and welcomes you as one of its newest partners.
 
Thank you TD Banknorth for selecting the CDC to receive one of your $50,000 awards in your Housing For Everyone competition.  Your support continues to foster substantial improvements within the neighborhoods that the CDC serves.
 
The Board of Directors and staff of the Worcester East Side CDC gratefully acknowledge and thank its supporters for their generosity over the years.  Their financial contributions have enabled the CDC to develop a wide range of affordable housing projects and neighborhood revitalization initiatives that have led to many tangible improvements to the quality of life within the neighborhoods that the CDC serves.  We deeply appreciate their ongoing commitment to the residents and businesses of this community.
 

 

Bank of America Foundation - general operating support.

 

Bay State Savings Bank Charitable Foundation - general operating support.

 

Central Mass. Housing Alliance - HUD McKinney funds for operation and supportive services at the 149 Belmont Street home for disabled, homeless adults.

 

City of Worcester - Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds for general operating support for housing development and housing counseling, HOME funds for housing project support and Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area (NRSA) funds for housing, business and community capital improvement support.

 

Commonwealth of Mass. Dept. of Housing & Community Development (DHCD) - HOME funds, Housing Stabilization Funds (HSF), and Affordable Housing Trust Funds (AHTF) for housing development project support.

 

Community Economic Development Assistance Corp. (CEDAC) - Acquisition and pre-development financing/loans for housing development projects.  They also administer the state’s Facilities Consolidation Fund (FCF) that was utilized in the 149 Belmont St. project for disabled, homeless adults.

 

Ellsworth Foundation - unsolicited general operating support based upon merit.

 

Federal Home Loan Bank - Affordable Housing Program (AHP) funds for housing development projects targeted to very low-income households.

 

Fidelity Foundation - funds for housing development projects.

 

Fletcher Foundation - general operating support.

 

George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Foundation - support for capital projects.

 

George Alden Trust - unsolicited general operating support based upon merit.

 

Greater Worcester Community Foundation - general operating support, Youth for Community Improvement youth program support and mini-grants for specific activities.

 

Healthy Communities Massachusetts - scholarships and technical support for the establishment of the community partnership with UMass Memorial Health Care.

 

Hoche-Scofield Foundation - general operating and capital program support.

 

Home Depot Foundation - product and financial support for housing development projects.

 

Mass. Housing Partnership - a partner in the Bell Hill Home Ownership Fund that was initiated by the CDC and established with UMass Memorial Health Care, the City of Worcester and the Dept. of Housing & Community Development (DHCD).  MHP also has awarded the CDC a $100,000 housing development capacity building grant to be used over a three-year period.

 

McKinney Fund (HUD) - funds for housing development projects and supportive services targeted to disabled, very low-income households at 149 Belmont Street.

 

People's United Community Foundation - program support.

 

Sovereign Bank Foundation - general operating support.

 

Structured Employment Economic Development Corp. (SEEDCO) - funding for employment assistance and housing counseling.

 

Stoddard Charitable Trust - general operating support.

 

TD Banknorth Massachusetts - general operating support and statewide competition awards for housing development projects.

 

U.S. Dept. of Housing & Urban Development (HUD) - many of the funding sources listed originate from HUD and get filtered through the state, city and quasi-public agencies.

 

U.S. Dept. of Labor - economic development operating support for employment assistance.

 

UMass Memorial Health Care - general operating support, capital investments and collaborative efforts on many different CDC initiatives.

 

Webster Five Foundation - general operating support.  Webster 5 bank also provides low-interest construction financing for our housing development projects.

 

Worcester Area Mission Society - small project/program specific grants.

 

Worcester Community Housing Resources - low-interest construction financing for our housing development projects.

 

Wyman–Gordon Foundation - unsolicited general operating support based upon merit.
